LESS THAN TWO WEEKS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!! It’s almost that time of the year, but let’s be honest, for most of us the most wonderful time of the year started on November 1st. There are many different ways to get in the Christmas mood during these eight weeks of waiting for December 25th to arrive. Today, I’m collabing with Sandra Tsai from When She Wanders to show you our holiday season essentials!
ONE – RED SWEATER
A red sweater, just like the Starbucks red cups, is a must for the holiday season. Mine is from Halogen in Red Barberry (click the link to see what it looks like not tucked in).
It’s the perfect red with some pink undertones and it’s 100% cashmere! I love that this one has a slit on both sides too : )
TWO – STATEMENT SHOES
THREE – CANDLES
Candles are an easy way to make your room smell more festive. My two favorite ones are Frosted Cranberry and Champagne Toast. They are both sweet, but not too sweet like the marshmallow or sugar cookie scents.
FOUR – HOLIDAY OUTFITS
Well, you gotta look pretty for the holidays right? Whether it’s a casual brunch, a work event, or a Christmas party, I gotchu. Check out my holiday outfits post here for 4 outfits!
FIVE – RED LIPSTICK
A good red lipstick is a must in every girl’s makeup collection, but it’s even more important to have one during this season. I like blue-tone red lipsticks because they make your teeth look less yellow.
This is what the Burberry one looks on my skintone.
SIX – RED NAIL POLISH
Big Apple Red by OPI is my go-to red nail polish. If I get a pedicure, it is almost always this color. I love it because it is a blue-tone red, same reason why I love those two lip products haha.

SEVEN – CHRISTMAS ONESIE
There are many festive onesies out there – Santa ones, reindeer ones, Olaf ones, and more, but my friend Morgan got this for me last Christmas and I LOVE IT. It is super soft and keeps me warm <3 It makes lounging around even more fun!
EIGHT – PAJAMA SET
Going along with the lounging around theme, a pajama set is also a must! Mine are from Victoria’s Secret and they are seriously so comfy. There are so many festive patterns, but of course I had to get a pink one.
NINE – CHRISTMAS PLAYLIST
“All I Want For Christmas Is You” by Mariah Carey is a classic and definitely my favorite, but I also love pop albums like Christmas & Chill by Ariana Grande and Under The Mistletoe by Justin Bieber. I play Spotify’s Christmas Pop playlist on a daily basis and have not gotten bored of it. It has great songs and is convenient to play (and it’s four hours long haha).
TEN – ADVENT CALENDAR
I guess if you don’t have one now, it’s a little too late to get one, but definitely get one for next year! What’s better than eating chocolate everyday for 25 days?
BONUS – CHRISTMAS SPIRIT
Gotta have some (or a lot) of Christmas spirit! There are many festive things to do during this time of the year. Whether it’s going to a nearby mall to see the Christmas tree or staying home to bake some decadent goodies, get yourself in the holiday mood!!
I hope you enjoyed my Christmas essentials and thank you Sandra for collabing with me! If you have any other essentials, please leave them in the comments below. As always, thank you for stopping by : )
