Welcome to day 3 of #12DaysOfKimber! I am finally sitting down to write about my trip to Iceland! My friend and I went about a month ago, and it was so much fun. It was very eye-opening to see nature in its rawest form, and I would love to visit again. This trip was actually a “flex trip” for me because I am currently on a traveling project at the consulting firm I work at (click here to read more about what I do for work). I flew from the Dulles Airport in Washington DC via Iceland Air stopover, which… View Post

I went on a girls trip with my best friends from college to Portland, Maine! Today’s post will be my travel diary from the trip back in mid-July. Click here for my Portland Outfit Diary. After college, my friends and I ended up in different states and scattered on both coasts, but we managed to make all our vacation schedules match up for a road trip. What sparked our trip was actually Ingrid Nilsen’s video with her friends to Portland, Maine, and we thought it was the perfect idea for our first post-graduation trip together. It was so much fun,… View Post

In late June, I visited my brother in Colorado and we went on a road trip to the Rocky Mountains National Park! The three main destinations were Deer Mountain, Bear Lake, and Loch Vale. We wanted to see both mountains and lakes, so that’s why we decided on those destinations. And you know what? We were over 10,000 feet above sea level on both days!! It was so nice to escape the busy city to a place without cellphone service (Instastorying was a struggle but that’s okay). While I am not the most athletic person (crazy to think that I used… View Post

It’s been almost a month since my trip to Ottawa and I finally finished sorting through all the pictures! My friend Sandra and I wanted to go somewhere we’ve never been to for a weekend trip (Friday to Sunday) and we decided to go to the capital of Canada! Traveling with her is always a fun time because we like to do similar things when we travel, and we catch up on each other’s lives : ) We had three full days in Ottawa and it was definitely enough time to see the city, not including the countryside of course. On… View Post

Here is my Seattle outfit diary! I flew out west to Seattle recently to explore the city and hang out with a friend who I’ve known since preschool. It has been over ten years since I have been to Seattle, and it was my first time in the city without my family. I love traveling with my family, but there is something about traveling with friends that make the experience different. My friend helped me take photos of my outfits throughout the weekend, except the last day because we had a chill day and I didn’t want to pull out… View Post
