Amazon Favorites 2017

Happy New Year and cheers to 2018! Before I start all the fun posts in 2018, I wanted to recap on what I loved in 2017. I realized that I buy a lot of things from Amazon because I have Amazon Prime, and because there are just sooo many options on there! I narrowed down my Amazon Favorites and added a few non-Amazon products in the end of the post. I will be updating my Amazon Favorites throughout the year, so make sure to save the url! All you have to do is remember my Instagram handle, which is kimberrryyy. www.amazon.com/shop/kimberrryyy 🙂 It was honestly very difficult to narrow it down, but I wanted to keep this list short to show my absolute favorites (in no particular order). Let’s begin!

Epilator

I discovered this over summer and used it a ton during the warmer months. Basically it is a tool that removes your hair from the roots so you don’t have to shave every day. I also brought this on my travels and you can bring this in your carry-on. It is super compact and works really well! I have to say, if it is your first time using an epilator, it will hurt, but that’s just the nature of it. It is a lot cheaper than waxing too!

Lighted Makeup Mirror and Clear Acrylic Makeup Organizer

These are the two main things on the makeup portion of my tiny ikea desk. I use the makeup organizer to store all my makeup and use the light up mirror to do my makeup in the morning. I love that the organizer is super sleek looking and very affordable, and I love that the mirror lights up so when it’s still dark out, I can still see!

Silk Pillowcase

This was a gift from a friend and it is sooo comfortable to sleep on. I talked about this in a haircare post over the summer, and I am still loving it! It comes in a variety of colors, so you will definitely find one that matches your bed.

Spiralizer

A game changer, seriously. I used to only use it for cucumbers, but when my friend was at my place recently, we used it for zucchinis and cooked it with some regular pasta. SO DELICIOUS! I have tried other spiralizers before, but this one is my favorite.

Echo Dot

It was very weird to talk to my amazon echo dot at first, but once I got used to it, I found myself talking to it at my friend’s places even though they don’t have it. Smart home devices are taking over the world, and they really do make your life easier. I currently use it mostly for random things I need to know during the day and music, but I hope to get smart lights soon so I can use it to it’s full potential!

Nipple Covers

This seriously saved me this summer. Whether I had to wear it because I was wearing a bodysuit or whether I just wanted to wear it because I didn’t want to wear a real bra, these nipple covers were my go-to for summer. I first bought them a couple of years ago and repurchase them every year.

Double Pom Pom Beanie

My go-to beanie for the winter time. Mine is an old one but my friend bought this one from Amazon this year and it is pretty much the same thing! It comes in four colors, and the pom poms are perfectly spaced. I think the two pom poms add so much cuteness to any winter outfit and I will definitely be wearing this a ton more this year because it is currently freezing outside.

Conair Hair Dryer

I have had this for more than five years and it is still going strong. It is super lightweight, and very strong. I have a lot of hair and this blow dryer saves me so much time when I’m in a rush. If it’s still working after more than five years and it’s less than $15, I’d say this is probably the best investment ever.

Conair Steamer

This steamer is so good that my mom uses it too! When it’s validated by a mom, it means that it’s amazing haha. Since I don’t know how to use an iron, this steamer makes my life so much easier. I sometimes bring it when I travel because it is quite light and doesn’t take up too much space. I am looking for a more compact one to bring around, but for now, this will do. I have also used this for my curtains before and works amazing.

The Defining Decade and The Power of Habit

These two books are probably the most life-changing for me. I actually read the power of habit late 2016  and wrote a review on it! I had started implementing some of the thoughts, but 2017 was really when I started to form habits. The defining decade was recommended to me by a friend and even though I don’t agree with everything the author says, she does have some very good points. I don’t want to spoil it, but if you are in your 20s, it is a must read!

Magic Bullet Blender

I bought this over summer and made a ton of acai bowls and matcha smoothies. For acai bowls, I use this acai powder, and for matcha smoothies, I use this matcha powder. The magic bullet comes with three cups, and I love using the one with the handle so I don’t have to wash an extra cup!

Keurig and The Original Donut Shop K-Cups

I pretty much use my Keurig every morning when I am home. My two high school friends visited me over the holidays and they sometimes used it multiple times a day. My favorite k-cups are the donut shop ones, and I always stock up when I am running low. Honestly, sometimes I don’t even use it for coffee. Since I don’t have a kettle, I sometimes use it for hot water – it’s the perfect amount!

Travel Favorites

As a consultant, I travel a lot for work. Click here to learn more about what I do as a consultant. My Longchamp backpack and Longchamp duffel bag are so durable and lightweight for travel. I love using the backpack when I’m out and about in the city too! I pretty much always use my Calpak marble carry-on, and I ALWAYS use packing cubes. Packing cubes helped me pack my thick winter clothes when I went to Iceland and Copenhagen recently, and they just make everything so compact. I have talked about all of these things in previous blog posts, but wanted to round them up here, so click below to shop my travel favorites!

ClassPass

I first started using ClassPass summer of 2015, and renewed my membership last year. It is basically a membership that allows you to take a bunch of different workout classes that sign with ClassPass. Some of my favorites in New York City are Crunch Gym, Circuit of Change, and Body by Simone. I also attend random Zumba classes here and there at other studios because it is my absolute favorite way to workout. You can get $40 off when you sign up here!

CaseApp Phone Case

I recently got a new phone (long overdue) and got a new phone case for it. I went with the tough case with the glossy finish for iPhone X and it is such a high quality case! It has a layer of protection to protect my phone without being bulky and heavy, and there are a variety of cases, and you can even customize your own. I did a giveaway with them last month on my Instagram, so be sure to follow me there for future giveaways. You can get 20% off your CaseApp phone case with code KIMBER20 until January 19th.

That wraps up my Amazon Favorites for 2017! Let me know if I should do a fashion and/or beauty version with items that are not from Amazon. What I wear the most will be linked the most amount of times on my shop page, so be sure to check it out! I hope you had an amazing New Years and I will be working on my new year’s resolutions for 2018 soon, can’t wait to share them with you! Thank you so much for stopping by 🙂
