Apple Pie & CHILL

Sometimes I just want to stay home on the weekends and relax, but I don’t want to be Netflixing or YouTubing for the entire day. What to do what to do…

Bake something! It’s the season for all baked goods – apple pie, pumpkin pie, gingerbread cookies, chocolate peppermint muffins, you name it! I made some mini apple pies last weekend and thought I’d share them today so you could possibly have a relaxing weekend evening – apple pie & chill.

The recipe I used is from Laura in the Kitchen (I love watching her YouTube videos), but I used a store-bought pie crust instead of making my own. I also like my apples to be softer, so I heated the apple mixture in a pot for no more than five minutes on medium heat. The apple pies turned out SO DELICIOUS and I had a dozen of them.

I let them cool for a bit, made some tea, and ate them while I watched YouTube videos. It was a very relaxing evening at home : )

After working hard during the week, I don’t always want to do something over the weekend. It is also good to have some me time to think about things and restore your energy. I hope you will make some delicious baked goods this weekend. And don’t be afraid to say no to your friends so you can have some time for yourself! As always, thank you for stopping by : )
