There is no better city for brunch than New York. How else are you going to celebrate spring with your girl friends? Sunday brunch followed by shopping and strolling around in the spring air is every New Yorker’s dream, especially after the snow in March. At brunch, life is beautiful – doesn’t matter if you’re having mimosas, bellinis, orange juice, or cold brew coffee. That is exactly what I did this past Sunday. My girl friends and I reunited for brunch at While We Were Young, located in West Village. Unlike most brunch places in the city, While We Were… View Post

Williamsburg is a neighborhood in Brooklyn and is easily accessible from Manhattan via the L train. It is known for its hipster vibes, so my friend Tennley and I spent a day there to explore the neighborhood. I have been there a few times before for Smorgasburg, but never an entire day of exploring. If you are in New York City, I highly recommend getting out of Manhattan, even if it’s just to see the view of Manhattan from across the river. All you have to do is get on the L train and get off at Bedford Avenue, which is the first… View Post

Today I am sharing five layering combinations for spring, featuring my outerwear favorites this season : ) A light trench is a must for spring. Whether it’s light camel, pale gray, blush pink, or white, a light trench is a great piece to throw over your outfit and look put together. Last weekend I wore a light trench cape,… View Post

Walking in a winter wonderland (in March). Yup. I still get that giddy feeling when I watch the snow fall, and yesterday was no exception. While everyone wants a beautiful snow day (preferably in January) and a white wonderland, we all want the next day to be warm and for the snow to melt away without the slushy mess. That is pretty much what happened this weekend! I escaped the busy city of Manhattan to a small town in New Jersey to visit one of my best friends, Michelle. I love living in New York, but sometimes it’s good to… View Post
