A couple weekends ago, I got to go to New Orleans for the first time! I have always heard so many amazing things about this town, so I was excited to see what the hype was about. It’s safe to say New Orleans did not disappoint! The entire town is so picturesque, everyone is friendly, and the food & drinks are amazing! I went with my college friends Joyce and Grace, and it was a BLAST! We stayed at the New Orleans Marriott, which was at the center of everything downtown. We went to Sun Moon Lake (see travel post here) and I spent a good amount of time down south at my grandparents’ place. It has been six years since I celebrated Lunar New Year with the whole family! On Lunar New Year Eve, we all had grandma’s delicious cooking, followed by the red envelopes tradition – this year was my first time giving red envelopes to my cousins. My… View Post
