Pittsburgh, the City of Bridges | OOTD

I flew back to my alma mater, Carnegie Mellon University, last week for on-campus recruiting and it was a blast! I had a great time catching up with my friends and seeing the new campus. Even though going back to Pittsburgh reminded me of all the hardships, it also reminded me of all the amazing friendships I made. I have known some of them for over five years, which is crazy to think about! For a glimpse of my college experience, click here.

The career fair was pretty much an entire day of talking about my job and the consulting firm, so by the end of the day, my voice was gone. The beer, ribs, and fries that night definitely did not help haha. Back in school, we used to call it Shittsburgh, but when the weather is nice and there isn’t schoolwork anymore, it is actually quite nice! Shout out to the helpful stranger who snapped a few pictures for me! And no, I was not drinking a pumpkin spice latte (it was a soy latte).

Work has been pretty stressful these days, but I am very lucky to be able to travel on weekends (one of the perks of consulting!). I am going to Seattle this weekend and will be going to Iceland and Copenhagen at the end of October. Super excited! Since I travel to DC for work every week, I am looking into staying there for a weekend to finally explore the city.

Now onto the outfit. It is pretty simple, just a black crop top (also featured here and here), a striped skirt that transitions perfectly in autumn season (see here for a cozier look), and my go-to white sneakers.

Astonishing pictures, Kimberley! Pittsburgh seems like a great place to visit. When’s the best time of the year to explore it?
