Faux Shearling OOTD

I recently added a faux shearling jacket to my wardrobe and wanted to share my love for it (as in I can see myself purchasing more haha). I have the Faux Shearling Moto Jacket by J.O.A. in a multicolor – cream, olive, and navy. When I saw this on sale at Nordstrom.com, I was actually leaning towards the blush pink one. However, I couldn’t justify getting it because I had already purchased a pink jacket at the end of last year. At the same time, I really loved the shape of this faux shearling jacket, so I went for the multicolored one. I thought it was going to be difficult to wear, but it is surprisingly easy to match because all three colors are very neutral.

I paired the faux shearling coat with a very simple and neutral outfit to showcase the coat. It definitely is more of a statement piece because of the three colors, but it’s a statement piece that will match with many outfits.

Of course I had my Longchamp Le Pliage Backpack with me : )

There is a buckle at the bottom to add a little more to the outfit. It also looks great zipped up, because it showcases all three colors very well. One funky thing about this jacket is that it only has one pocket on the right and there isn’t a pocket on the left, so you can’t put both hands in your pockets when it gets chilly.

I really wanted to post about this outfit, because I learned that sometimes pieces can seem intimidating, but once you go out of your comfort zone to try different outfits, you might find something new you like. I hope you enjoyed my OOTD in San Francisco, and when I post about my weekend there, I will link it here. Have an amazing week and thanks for stopping by : )

I love how you’re so bold and being able to rock that statement piece! Sometimes, it’s the way you wear it makes the outfit rather than the article of clothing itself ! Keep on being you and be bold ! xoxo
