First snow in New York City was on Saturday! It was a pretty mild snow and only lasted for a few hours. It actually snowed in Texas and Georgia before it snowed in New York, which is unheard of. Before my friend and I baked gingerbread cookies, we went out into the snow because that is what you’re supposed to do during the first snow. (Nah, we were just too excited.) Like every New Yorker out there, all we hope for is some snow and a small buildup, then for the snow to melt away the next day. That is pretty much what happened this time! I am always so excited during the first snow, and this year was no exception. I dressed to match the weather and felt like a snow bunny 🐰❄️

I wore a white sweater dress (also comes in petite) with my taupe over-the-knee boots. These boots are my Stuart Weitzman dupes, and I have them in burgundy as well. I compared the two in yesterday’s post, so be sure to check it out. The sweater dresses is labeled as a tunic online, but I am 5’5” and bought the regular in size S, and it is not terribly short as a dress. Since I have a small frame, I sometimes buy things from the petite section, but this one would have been way too short as a dress.

I threw on my multicolor grid blanket scarf for some added warmth, and also earmuffs from the Zara kids section (yes, I shop at the kids section). And of course my Chloe bag that seem to match the boots perfectly! Since it was about 30 degrees outside, I had to throw on my TNA coat, which is the holy grail winter coat that I’ve had for years. If you are looking for a winter coat that will last you a while, highly recommend this one, as it was recommended to me by a Canadian haha. One tip I have for braving the cold is to wear a heattech shirt underneath. I am wearing this one by Uniqlo and it seriously adds so much warmth!

I hope you enjoyed the last day of #12DaysOfKimber and thank you so much for stopping by!
