Happy Monday y’all! Last week was such a hectic week at work that I did not have time to write about this outfit, but thankfully, I am back home in Taiwan for Lunar New Year and could not be happier. I have not been home in over one and a half years and have not celebrated the new year with my grandparents in almost six years. Time really does fly! Temperatures are much warmer here, so I am also happy to be escaping the harsh winter in the Northeast.
Today’s outfit is a special one because this sweater has hearts on the elbows! It comes in three colors (wearing size S/M). How can you say no to that? It is super soft and perfect for a casual Valentine’s or Galentine’s Day look, but since it is plain white in the front, you can really wear it anytime. I kept it very simple with my high-rise jeans with busted knees and white sneakers from Superga. Also added my double circle belt, of course.
I wanted to talk a bit about Chicwish, which is where I bought the sweater from. I discovered the brand early last year and have never had to return anything! That is very rare for me. Shipping usually takes a week, and there are so many cute sweaters from the website. My white coat with black grids that I wear all the time is also from Chicwish!
Finally, since this sweater literally has hearts on it, I thought I’d share three of my current favorites as a preview for an upcoming post. First is a show on Amazon Prime called The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. If you like comedy, you will definitely like this. It is based in the 1950s in New York City and the main character, Mrs. Maisel, has a very interesting life. The second are RX bars, specifically in the blueberry flavor and mixed berry flavor. I bring them on flights to munch on and to work as well. The third is this travel-friendly lint roller from Amazon, because it is convenient to have in my carry-on so I can make sure my work outfits are clean and polished. If you love Amazon, check out my Amazon favorites!
I have kind of been on a denim kick lately – blogged about more jeans here! I hope you enjoyed this look and thank you so much for stopping by!
