June Favorites

IMG_8774

June has been one of my busiest months this year, but even with all the stress, it has been a fulfilling month. I hosted the Too Cool For School beauty event in SoHo, hiked the Rocky Mountains in Colorado (blog post coming soon), worked on a challenging project at work (I am a data science consultant), and moved apartments! For life updates, follow me on Instagram! Now onto the favs!!

1 Too Cool For School Egg Mousse Soap Facial Cleanser

This is a whipped egg white mousse cleanser that is infused with egg yolk extract. Egg yolk extract in skincare? Yup. It hydrates, purifies, and replenishes your skin. I use this once a day, usually at night when I wash my makeup off. I gently massage it into my skin and then rise with lukewarm water. Apparently, you can use this as a shaving cream, but I’ve never tried it haha. Love this stuff, definitely recommend!

Too Cool For School Coconut Milky Body Scrub

BEST BODY SCRUB EVER! It smells like coconut but it’s not too overpowering. Most body scrubs have microbeads that help with exfoliating, but this body scrub uses the coconut shell as an exfoliant. This was probably the most popular item that I talked about during the beauty event I hosted because a lot of people asked me questions about it!

Too Cool For School Egg Mellow Cream

I get the general feeling that a lot of Korean beauty/skincare products have ingredients that hydrate your skin and makes your skin look younger. This is a prime example. It is a moisturizer that is infused with collagen for younger-looking skin. I like to use this after I wash my face at night and I absolutely loove the texture!

Too Cool For School Coconut Ceramide Mask

I have talked about Too Cool For School face masks before and I’m back with a new one. This one is drenched in coconut water, so it’s perfect for summer! It’s basically a super hydrating sheet mask and I love it. They are also pretty decently priced, compared to some other brands.

amika Curl Icon Base Kit

I talked about this last month and have still been loving it this month. It is the only curling tool I use basically, and it finally launched! I also have the Curl Icon Barrel Pack, which has three more attachments. You can also get the Blowout Babe Interchangeable Thermal Brush if you want even more attachment options. I will be doing an updated hair tutorial soon!

amika Bust Your Brass Shampoo and Conditioner

I use the ‘Bust Your Brass’ collection to wash and condition my hair because the purple shampoo keeps the ends of my hair ashy brown/blonde. For the days when I don’t wash my hair, I use the amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo, which I have talked about so much already. It’s basically the best dry shampoo I have ever used and it also leaves your hair smelling like flowers!

CALPAK Marble Carry-On

Since I was traveling this month (for fun and for work), I have been relying on this baby. I also use my Longchamp duffel bag for more storage space. I featured the marble carry-on in a recent Instagram post (finally, because I always forget to take photos at the airport). I did a blog post about my travel essentials, click here for the blog post.

Pinky Petals Nipple Covers

My friends often ask me what bra I wear with some of my more revealing clothes, and this is the answer. I have been using this for a long time and repurchased as well. I featured it in an outfit post recently!

Love, Fire

This is a brand I discovered during the Nordstrom Sale and I already have six items from them. I did a blog post here, featuring one of the tops I got, and there will be more outfit posts coming up! Everything is affordable and really good quality.

10 Gingham

I am definitely obsessed with this print for the summer. I have two outfit posts (linked here and here), and will be blogging about this dress soon. This is definitely my favorite pattern (aside from stripes) this summer. What is your favorite pattern to wear? Leave it in the comments below!

And we’re done! The red heeled sandals in the featured photo are on sale by the way! You can click any of the items below for more information. I hope you’re having a great summer and thank you for stopping by : )
