Labiotte Wine Lip Product Review

I am a lip junkie. My makeup collection is basically the basics and a LOT of lip products. When I saw these lippies in wine packaging, I had to try them out.

Labiotte is a Korean brand, and like most other Korean brands, they are super creative when it comes to packaging. I am one of those people who buy things because of cute packaging…oops. I love the attention to detail for these mini bottles of wine : )

I purchased two wine lip tints in CR01 and PK01, and one wine matte lipstick in Malbec Burgundy. One of the lip tints is for my friend so I only opened it to take a picture haha. The box has a really pretty gold label on them and the color on the box indicates the color of the lip product inside.

And this is what they look like! The wine lip tints are shorter than the wine matte lipstick.

This is the wine matte lipstick in Malbec Burgundy.

If you twist the very top of the bottle off, there is a sponge-like thing for you to blend out your lipstick, but I don’t see why I need to use that when I can just use the lipstick.

This is the wine lip tint in CR01, which is a corally pink color. The applicator is easy to use and doesn’t get messy.

Now onto the actual product. The formulas are fast-drying and very builable. One layer is enough for me when I want a sheer color on my lips, but if you want a more intense color, remember to wait until the last layer has dried to apply your next layer, or else the product leaves smear marks. The real highlight of this product is that it lasts for a long time. The only thing to note is that it doesn’t do too well with oily foods. If I could only choose one of the two products, I will probably choose the lip tint, because it feels more lightweight on the lips and it’s also cheaper.

This is a great stocking stuffer or Christmas present for your friend who loves lip products, wine, or both! Thanks for stopping by : )
