Ahh, lazy Sundays. We wish it could last forever so we don’t have to wake up early on Monday morning to face the real world. Other than the occasional Sunday brunch with friends, I like to keep the majority of my Sundays for myself. I find that having my mind go blank is the perfect way to get myself rejuvenated and ready for the week. I like to spend time alone, work on my blog, do some chores, relax, and plan for the week : )
After starting work, I really started to appreciate alone time. Spending quality time with myself and I allows me to clear my mind and focus on myself. It is also known to increase your productivity! I like to sleep in, wake up and make myself a cup of coffee and breakfast, and relax. That is the perfect start to my Sunday. Then I proceed to binge-watching Netflix (current favorite is Young & Hungry) and YouTube videos (vlogs, lots of vlogs).
Sundays are also the perfect time to do the things you love but don’t have time during the week to do. For me, it’s blogging. I will usually write my Sunday post on the same day and plan for my Wednesday post. Hobbies make people happier and it’s a great way for me to take my mind off of things.
I also like to do chores on Sunday, usually after dinner. This involves cleaning my room, doing laundry, and other things I put off during the week. It’s great because it kind of forces me to move around and get the place clean to start the week.
Finally, my Sunday would not be complete without some planning. Whether it’s allocating time for grocery shopping or looking at what work deadlines I have during the week, it is all to prepare me for the coming week. By doing this, I can make sure that I prioritize my tasks and do the things I need to do.
