Once October is over, it’s time to go into full holiday mode!! I am currently in Iceland (writing this before I leave for my trip) and will be going to Copenhagen soon, so stay on the lookout to travel posts after my travels. In the meantime, I hope you try out some of my October favorites 🙂
I love wearing tights during the fall and winter time, so I decided to do a post about how I like to style tights. Click here for three ways to style tights for the colder months!
I absolutely love using my Keurig for coffee in the morning, but in autumn, I like to use it for hot apple cider too! I have been using these apple cider k-cups in this cute mug, and it makes me so happy 🙂 If you like pumpkin spice things, I recommend these pumpkin spice coffee k-cups.
The two pairs of shoes that I have been loving this month are my black knee high boots and black booties with buckle detail. They are both super comfortable and both give me some extra height! See photos above for both shoes.
If you are looking into splurging on a pair of nice thigh high boots, I really love my Stuart Weitzman ones. They are surprisingly comfortable for being 4 inches tall, and this is coming from someone who has had knee injury before. They are quite pricey, so I looked online to see if there are good dupes, and this pair had the best reviews for being a SW dupe! Buying fashion pieces from Amazon seems kind of sketch, but I’ve done it before and have found some amazing pieces. Plus, if you don’t like them, Amazon prime returns are super fast and easy (running low on sizes though).
Showpo is an Australian online boutique that I discovered last year. I talked about it in my blog post about top 10 stores I like to shop at, but I chose this one to be the fav of the favs (wearing it in the pumpkin picking photo). If you are looking to try some new brands/websites, I hope you check out Showpo and let me know how you like it!
Suede Moto Jacket
This jacket is my go-to jacket for fall (wearing it in one of the photos up there). I blogged about three ways to wear this jacket recently, and mann I have seriously been wearing it so often! If you follow me on Instagram, you might have seen this on InstaStory multiple times haha.
Honey by Marc Jacobs
I don’t really wear perfume during the summer months for some reason (maybe I just forget), but I have been spritzing a bit of Honey by Marc Jacobs recently. I have had this for at least two years and rediscovered my love for it. Since I started using perfume again, I also saw that Tiffany & Co. has a new fragrance! I smelled it in store and might be adding it to my Christmas wishlist haha.
The two lip colors I have been using this month are Kristen by Kylie Cosmetics and Escape by Tarte Cosmetics. For Kylie’s product, I’m too lazy most of the time to apply the liquid lipstick on top of the lip liner, so I just use the lip liner on it’s own. The one by Tarte has been a favorite of mine for probably half a year now!
Faux fur vests
Booties and faux fur just remind me of fall, so of course I had to include faux fur vests! The two that I have in my closet now are both from last year, and I honestly don’t see myself buying another one this year. Click here and here for previous blog posts about these faux fur vests. However, I was at Nordstrom recently and saw some great faux fur finds for this year, so shop away!
I recently posted this photo on Instagram and received comments and DMs about the sweater, so I thought I’d talk about it here. Choker jumpers are super chic and cozy! My friend also has a velvet version, which I really like. Mine is an old one that is no longer sold (sorry), but below are some options from Boohoo.
I have been home more often these days, because I do not have to travel as much for work (click here to learn more about what I do for work). I have a kitchen counter top that I DIY-ed into a marble surface, and I have two bar stools that are super convenient for me to sit on and use my laptop or eat dinner. It is also nice to have more sitting spots for when people come over.
Amazon echo dot
I finally set up my Amazon Echo Dot!! I mainly use it to play music and set alarms, but it is amazing how much it can do! My friend has a Google Home and an Amazon Echo Dot, and it was very interesting comparing the two. I am still playing around with it, but have been loving it so far.
I hope you enjoyed my October favorites! It would mean the world to me if you could subscribe to my blog and you will receive emails when I publish a new blog post. Lots of fun content coming soon, including travel posts and so much holiday fun (pst, giveaway)! Thank you so much for stopping by : )
