As a consultant, I am sometimes able to work from home. Basically as long as my meetings can be done online and I don’t have to be on the client site, I can work from home. However, working from home gets boring pretty fast. When I get bored of working from home, I do one of three things – go to the office, go to a café, or simply take a stroll (and keep my Fitbit happy) during lunch break. There are three perks of going to the office. Number 1, free coffee free fruits free hot chocolate free gummy… View Post

I recently saw this video about fake Kylie lip kits gluing people’s lips together and remembered that I had one too, so here we go. I actually purchased my first Kylie lip kit on the streets of New York City in August. A man was selling Urban Decay Naked palettes, Kylie lip kits, and much more, so we thought he was pretty legit. He was selling two lip kits for $25 and we thought we would try them out (I got Mary Jo K). I actually liked it! A couple of weeks later, I purchased her lip kits from kyliecosmetics.com… View Post

Now that Halloween is over, IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR! Yeap, singing the song as I’m writing this. This also means that Sephora’s holiday gift sets are out! I like to start early, because there are more options available and I have more time to think about what I want to get for who. Too Faced Grande Hotel Café ($49) – this gift set is worth $292! You are not only paying less than… View Post

Happy November! The first day of the month is the day I pay my (New York) rent. Yes, rent in New York City is insanely high. Before I started work, I did some googling about how to budget for a young adult. It was helpful, but I didn’t start learning until I got my first paycheck. When I saw the amount deposited into my account, I wanted to cry. New York City tax is INSANELY high! I thought to myself how am I going to live like this? The first month after I got my first paycheck, I was a… View Post

Ahh, fall fashion. It’s the time for all things cozy. Here are some outfits featuring my favorite fall fashion items! I love faux fur and anything soft. I like to pair my fur vests with black skinny jeans or leggings and a solid-color sweater. It keeps the color palette neutral and simple, plus you can rock a burgundy bag. I got this fur vest at the Nordstrom Rack at Union Square and it is by Joie (similar here). I rocked my chokers all summer and this sweater (similar here and here) is a lovely twist to the choker trend. This sweater is comfy… View Post
