It is currently 1AM and I just got home from a business trip not too long ago. If you saw on Instagram, you probably know that I was in the Philly area for a client meeting that lasted for 11 hours. Why am I still up? Because I have some exciting things that I wanted to blog about! So here we go.
I moved apartments last week and am still in the midst of organizing everything, but I’m soo excited to decorate my place and do a bunch of DIYs! There are two that I have in mind so far and will definitely be blogging about them. If you want to see an updated room tour, leave a comment below : ) Also, I am hosting an event at Too Cool For School in SoHo tomorrow and am honestly a bit nervous about it because public speaking is not my forte. I have been using their products for a few months now and have a few that I absolutely love. I will hopefully be blogging about the event after I host it!
Life updates aside, I recently purchased a new lens and was excited to try it out. Most of the time, my friends take photos for me when we hang out, but in situations like this – waiting at the Amtrak station, I had to be creative. Basically, I just put my camera on the table and set it on self-timer. I used to only rely on the 50mm lens, because it was great for portraits, but it could only accomplish so much. The most recent addition to my tiny (and growing) camera family is the 24mm lens. It is basically a higher quality iPhone camera, which is exactly what I wanted!
Now onto the outfit. I am in love with this pink satin romper (similar here and here) because of the color, material, and cut. It crisscrosses in the back so it’s pretty much backless. Whenever I wear something low-cut, backless, or off the shoulder, I pretty much always wear these nipple covers. I have been using these for more than a year now (repurchased once) and absolutely love them! I kept the look casual with my go-to velcro sneakers, but this would look so good with sandals or heels too. My sunnies are from Hello Mojo and you can get 20% off with code KIMMOJO.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
