Happy Wednesday! And hello from Portland, Maine! Not really, because I’m writing this a week and a half after the trip haha. I posted on Instagram Stories when I was on the trip and today is part one of the trip – the outfits. For future trips, I plan on doing an outfit diary and a travel diary, so stay tuned for part two! The outfit diary will include what I wore during the trip, and the travel diary will include what I did during the trip 🙂 Let’s begin!
It was a beautiful day for a boat ride and the perfect excuse to wear a swimsuit! I have been loooving one piece swimsuits because they hide my belly : ) Striped one piece swimsuits have been really popular these days, but the original ones cost more than $150 – crazy!! My jean shorts are from American Apparel, and I got them on sale when they were having their bankruptcy sale lol.
I actually forgot to wear my western-inspired belt that day, but it would’ve made this outfit extra cute! I paired the gingham crop tube top with the same American Apparel shorts and sunglasses. My Aldo sandals are from last summer, and I finished the look with my Mejuri necklace that I wear all the time. It is from the Jenn Im collection! If you want $20 off your first order, click here.
This romper is seriously SO SOFT! It’s like wearing pajamas, but you look super cute : ) I bought this because I saw Meredith Foster wearing it in one of her vlogs. It fits me really well and it’s very flowy! Another plus is that there is a zipper on the side, so if the wrap part un-ties, you won’t flash anyone. For my favorite wrap dress, click here.
I blogged about this dress here and brought it on the trip with me. In the blog post, I paired this dress with heels, but I kept it casual with sneakers this time : )
And lastly, here is one just for fun. By the end of the day, it got a bit chilly on the boat, so I hid myself in my watermelon beach towel and my friend snapped a photo because she thought I looked like a slice of watermelon!
That wraps up my Portland Outfit Diary! I hope you enjoyed it and stay tuned for my Portland Travel Diary : ) Thank you so much for stopping by!
