Fall is upon us and I am already so excited for the holiday season. Is it too early for that? Probably. Do I care? Nope! September was a hectic month work-wise, but I am glad I have my blog for me to work on during my free time. Let’s see what my top ten favorites are for this month!
Before we start, here are the outfit details.
I have been using this cleansing brush for almost a month now and have been really loving it. It is super lightweight for me to bring on all my travels and it is pink! It cleanses and exfoliates my skin gently and does not irritate my sensitive skin. I love that it gets rid of the makeup in my pores too. And it is so affordable!
These are the makeup wipes that I have been bringing on my travels and I love it! I usually do not go for makeup cleansing wipes that smell nice because they tend to irritate my skin, but this one does not. The size of the pack is perfect for trips when I’m gone for two weeks.
I talked about this in a previous post and it has been a favorite of mine ever since I moved. This clear makeup organizer keeps everything organized, and since lip products are the makeup product that I have the most of, I can display them nicely on the organizer.
I got this when I first moved to New York, and have been loving it since. To be honest, I’m not sure why I never mentioned this in a favorites post. It’s one of those things that I have been using for such a long time so I forget. It is very affordable and it also has another side that magnifies. Since I sometimes get ready at 5am in the morning when it’s still dark out (see blog post here to see why), the light-up mirror is super important! You can also use it as a normal mirror when you don’t need the light, of course.
I have been loving these nude/tan sandals by Sam Edelman (also available here and here). It has a very low heel but since it is a tan color, it still elongates my legs. I also love the scalloped detail because it adds a little something to a pretty standard sandal. They are also super comfortable and did not require me breaking them in. If you follow me on Instagram, you have probably seen these a lot!
There are two pairs of sneakers that I have been loving. The first one is my white sneakers by Superga. It also comes in a platform version, but I prefer the normal ones because they are lighter. They seriously matching with EVERYTHING. The second one is my pink workout sneakers by Adidas (also available here and here). It feels like I’m walking on clouds and I love wearing these when I work out. To see how I stay healthy in New York City, click here.
The two workwear pieces that I have been loving are my jersey pants by Express and my black blazer by Theory. I have a blog post with five office-appropriate outfits here so you can see how I style them!
This has been a favorite for a few months now and it is still a favorite. See here for why I love it so much.
Yes, I know it is fall now, but that doesn’t stop me from making acai bowls. I use this acai powder and blend it with frozen bananas, frozen berries, and almond milk. I love that the blender comes with three containers because I will still have a container to use if I don’t wash them immediately after. I love it so much that my friends and I got one for a friend’s birthday present!
This is kind of a weird favorite, but I have been drinking matcha powder with water for a while now. It is my afternoon boost because it has a bit of caffeine and it also has antioxidants. ! It is basically my alternative to a second cup of coffee but with less caffeine and more health benefits. And yes, I actually do keep a pack in my work bag and bring it to work.
Since the weather is suuuper nice now, it is the perfect weather for picnics. My friend and I recently went on a riverside picnic during sunset with this picnic mat and it was so much fun. I wrote a blog post about it with so many photos from the picnic, so click here to see all the photos. The picnic mat is from Sea and Grass, and I am currently eyeing their straw bags!
That is a wrap for my September favorites! I hope you find some of these products helpful and try them out. It would mean the world to me if you subscribe to my blog via email and join the email fam! It has been growing so much and I am working on revamping the email newsletters. Super excited for that! Thank you so much for stopping by!
