Top 10 Favorite Stores to Shop at

It is no secret that I love shopping. In fact, I love it so much that I put myself on a shopping ban until Black Friday (what?!). Yup, I started in mid/late September. I placed an order from Goodnight Macaroon before the ban though, kind of as my last hurrah before two months of no shopping. I will be doing a haul and review on the blog soon! In the meantime, I asked you guys on Instagram what you want to see on the blog, and most of the responses were related to where I shop and my wardrobe, so I thought I would put them together in this post. Let’s begin!

All photos below are clickable and will take you to the pieces!

Pretty Little Thing

This website is the most affordable one, and I love that everything is super trendy. It’s kind of like a better version of Forever21. There is always some sort of sale going on, so make sure to take advantage of that. I did a review/haul a while ago, so click here if you want to check it out. One of my favorite purchases is this sweatshirt dress, which looks amazing with thigh-high boots, black sock booties, or white sneakers. It is also a great website for occasion dresses. The only downside is that you have to pay for the return shipping by yourself.

This website is another one on the affordable side, but more expensive than Pretty Little Thing. I get a lot of feminine vibes from the clothes on this site, and the fall knits are to die for. One thing I love about this website is that the designs are unique, so the chances of you wearing the same thing as someone else is lower.

American Eagle

This is a no-brainer. I buy sweaters and jeans from American Eagle every year. It’s not a brand that I gravitate towards as much during the warmer months, but I really love it for the colder months for some reason. I wait until Black Friday to get jeans, but since some of the sweaters were already on sale last month, I went ahead and got me some.

This is an Australian online shopping website that I discovered last year and I absolutely love everything! I recently featured a sweater dress on the blog here. The quality of the bomber jacket I have is amazing, and the sweater dress still looks new after more than a year. Shipping is fast, so you don’t have to worry about your items not arriving from overseas. Another Australian website is Princess Polly, which is very similar to Urban Outfitters.

Urban Outfitters

This is another no-brainer. I love the dresses and rompers from UO during the warmer months, and I love the sweaters during the colder months. The sweaters are all super soft and trendy. If you have been following my blog for a while, you have probably seen how much I featured it during the warmer months! Below are some items that have been featured on my Instagram and some more that I’m eyeing.

Miss Selfridge

This is a brand based in the UK but it has an American website. I discovered this brand last year and did a review/haul on the blog, so click here for the blog post. It gives me Topshop vibes, which I also love. One reason I love ordering from this website is that it is not an American brand, and the shipping is fast! The only downside is that you have to pay for return shipping and returns go overseas, so make sure to use the size guide to find your size. I have not had a problem with sizing before with clothing, but am unsure about shoes.

My all-time favorite black jeans with knee cutouts are from Asos, so is my red one-piece bathing suit from this summer (featured here and here). I love that there are very affordable pieces and also more luxurious pieces on this website, so I tend to order a mix of different things. The only problem with Asos is that it is quite hit-or-miss, but thank goodness returns are super easy and free!

This is where I go to when I want to splurge a little because quite frankly, everything on this website is quite expensive. The white sneakers you see on my Instagram are from Revolve. My favorite top from spring/summer is from Revolve and I am so glad I splurged on it because I love it that much. This dress (on sale) from my Montreal trip was also a favorite. I do my best to shop in the sale section and then narrow down to my size when I shop on this website. Some of my favorite brands from Revolve are Endless Rose, by the way, Privacy Please, Just One Answer, and For Love & Lemons. Orders always come with a free return label, so it is super easy to return and exchange. Below are some pieces that I own and some that I’m eyeing.

I seriously shop here all the time. Mostly online, because they have yet to open a Nordstrom in New York City (we only have Nordstrom Rack). Shipping is fast and free, and returns are free and super easy. I have done multiple shopping posts about Nordstrom, but I wanted to mention a few key fall pieces. This cashmere sweater is one of the best bang for buck items ever, these knee-high boots have been a fall favorite of mine, and these booties with buckle detail are also a fall favorite! Here are some pieces that were featured previous blog posts.

I love that Nordstrom is a one-stop shop for many of my favorite brands, like Topshop, Stuart Weitzman, Theory, Brunette the Label, and more. Below are some pieces from my wardrobe.

I consider this as a more curated version of Nordstrom, and possibly more high-end as well. Free shipping and free returns, but the time frame is shorter than most websites. A lot of the pieces are very classic pieces, which is why I say it’s more curated. Some brands that I love from Shopbop are Just One Answer, MinkPink, Sam Edelman, and BB Dakota. The white velcro sneakers that I wore all summer are from Shopbop, and my Sam Edelman nude sandals are also a recent good find from Shopbop (on sale but sold out in most sizes, also sold here and here). One thing I noticed is that even if the same brand is sold at Shopbop, Nordstrom, and Revolve, a lot of the times the items featured are different!

I hope you enjoyed a little glimpse into my fall wardrobe and that you try out some of these websites if you haven’t before. Happy shopping and thank you so much for stopping by!

I think I’m addicted to online shopping. Just the shopping part I never actually buy anything lol. I’m definitely going to be checking some of these sites out.

It’s funny that you say Miss Selfridge gives you Topshop vibes because they are both under the same umbrella company. :p (I can’t think of the name right now though.) Miss Selfridge sizing is true to size to they have a petite section which is nice. I think I have gotten shoes before in the past and didn’t have a problem with the sizing. But I never buy shoes online ever (except maybe sneakers).

Thanks for pointing these stores out. I’ve only heard of a few of them but it’s good to know the options out there with different price points. Good luck on the shopping ban 😛
